 Charlottenburg, 83 Fasannstrasse Berlin

The Klausner home still photos were taken from two different sources. The first source is the 1938 auction catalog of Julius and Dora’s house. There were two auctions organized by Walther Achenbach, who, through our research, eventually became the Leo Spick Auction House. The second source is an issue of Architect Magazine from 1926 that was dedicated entirely to the Klausner house and its architect.

"However, the 16 mm film showing the Klausner family in the 'European Dream' film in 1936 was filmed by Heinz Taubenschlag. Heinz was a physician who loved photography and filming ‘home movies.' Like the Leisers and Klausners, his Taubenschlag ancestors were also from Tarnów before they moved to what would become Germany. He was married to Edith (Pollak) Taubenschlag, who was Dora’s Klausner niece.
